Biltmore House - America's largest home, with 250 room French renaissance style

Escaping daily routine office, I took a day trip to Asheville, in North Carolina (United States). Biltmore House is really good places to chill out.

Biltmore House (called also as Biltmore Estate) is a mansion near Asheville, North Carolina, built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895. It is the largest privately-owned home in the US, at 135,000 square feet (12,500 m2) and featuring 250 rooms. Still owned by one of Vanderbilt's descendants.

Everything inside Biltmore House is fascinating. It has 250 rooms, which includes 33 guest bedrooms. Each guest bedroom has its own name and theme. The bathrooms are 43; there are an indoor swimming pool, banquet Hall, bowling alley, exercise rooms and many many many other awesome things. It is far more than just a house. It is a palace.
The fabulous Gardens
Visiting Biltmore is not complete without stroll through the Biltmore House Gardens. There is a series of stunning gardens, which each has a different theme, such as Italian Garden, Walled Garden, Conservatory Garden, Azalea and Spring Garden.

Sit, Sip and Stay Awhile
Don’t worry if you are hungry in this huge place, after explored the estate, gardens and ground. Biltmore House offers not only the incredible things to be seen, but also the Southern specialties to be tasted to be tasted. There are cafes and snack shops which are located conveniently and have good atmosphere too.

Antler Hill Village & Winery at Biltmore House
Antler Hill Village & Winery is part of the Biltmore Estate that has the restaurants, shops and the winery. I took the winery tour and be a witness the wine-making process.

The interesting thing is, enter the Winery; that I must walk underground through the old long original tunnel, which leads to the wine tasting room. As a part of tour, I can try any kind of wine that they produce and the cost is included in the estate admission. Not bad!
